LUDA CONTI
Luda Conti is the president and owner of Avanti Day Resort in Manalapan, NJ. She moved to the United States from Ukraine at the age of 18. From a young age, Luda was passionate about the beauty industry, inspired by her grandmother in Ukraine who made her own beauty products and emphasized the importance of skincare. Pursuing her dream, Luda opened her first salon in the U.S. at just 20 years old. At a time when American salons were not yet focused on skincare and spas were not popular, Luda was a pioneer. She co-owned a salon in East Brunswick before founding Avanti Salon & Spa. Since its establishment in 1997, Luda has been the driving force behind its growth and success. True to the name “Avanti,” which means “to keep moving forward” in Italian, Luda has continually propelled the business towards new heights.

A FRESH START
New Beginnings
In March 2007, a fire destroyed the Avanti building, but after months of redevelopment, it was relaunched as an updated Day Resort in February 2008. Luda was nominated for the Western Monmouth Chamber of Commerce Athena Award in 2008, symbolizing the Goddess of Achievement in Greek mythology. In 2011, she became a member of Intercoiffure America, an influential organization in the hairdressing industry, which sets the standards for the industry. Avanti Day Resort has received numerous prestigious awards, including National Salon of the Year by Salon Today magazine and a spot on ELLE Magazine’s list of Top Salons in America. It has also been recognized as the Best Salon/Spa in NJ, Best in Monmouth County, and Best in Englishtown/Manalapan.
Luda is seen by her staff as a mentor who instills confidence and leadership qualities. She regularly sends her team to educational leadership seminars for their personal and professional development. Luda’s vision for Avanti has created a captivating experience for guests, featuring an enchanting salon, world-class spa, nail emporium, executive retreat for men, café, concierge services, and boutique, all in a luxurious ambiance. With her ambition and dedicated team, Luda has redefined luxury and pampering, adding special touches that exemplify refined hospitality.
From Dreams To Reality
In addition to her achievements in the beauty industry, Luda has discovered a passion for ballroom dancing. Starting with simple dance lessons in 2012, she has progressed to competing professionally with Paragon Ballroom. In the simplest terms, whatever Luda dreams always becomes a passionate reality.
